Fees & Insurance

Fees:

  • $120 per 50 minute session
  • $160 per 90 minute session

I accept cash, check, and all major credit cards due at time of service.

Cancellations:

If you miss an appointment without canceling or do not cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance, you will be billed for a session at my standard fee of $120. Please be advised that insurance companies will not pay for missed or canceled appointments.

Insurance:

I am an in-network provider for the following insurance:

  • Regence
  • Premera
  • First Choice
  • Cigna
  • Beacon

I am considered an out-of-network provider by other insurance companies.  This means that the majority of clients who have insurance are eligible to be reimbursed a significant portion of my fee. Upon request, I can provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

To determine if you will be reimbursed for my services by your insurance, the first thing you should do is call them.  

Here are some questions to ask your insurance company:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
  • How much does my plan reimburse for an out-of-network provider?  (What percentage of the fee will I be reimbursed?)
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is couple’s counseling covered, or only individual therapy?
  • Are there any restrictions regarding the type of therapy or the practitioner’s credentials?
  • Are there any other restrictions I should know about, or any other questions I should be asking?
